What is the return policy?

We always hope that you love your purchase, but if you wish to return it for whatever reason, please contact us here or email us at hello@santamaria.love.

We accept returns for exchanges or refunds, as long you contact us and ship back your order within 10 days of its delivery. If you contact us or ship back the order after the 10-day return window, we cannot process your return. There is a $10 restock fee per item returned for a refund, which will be deducted from refund amount.

You must receive written approval form us before sending back any items, please.

All eligible returns must be in new condition; this means the item is unworn, free of any scents, without makeup stains, and in its original packaging with all hangtags attached. Items that do not meet these criteria will not be refunded and will be shipped back to the customer. Initial shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once receiving your order back, we kindly request 1 to 3 business days to process your return.

RETURNS FOR REFUNDS
For domestic orders returned for a refund, there is a $10 restocking fee per item returned, which will be deducted from your refund. This fee exists to cover the time and cost it takes to properly inspect, clean, iron & repackage items before they can be sold again.

The customer is responsible for shipping the order back to us. We do not cover return shipping costs; however, we can issue a return label for greater convenience and the shipping cost ($5 to $15 depending on the weight of the order) will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds will be returned to the account or payment method used to make the original purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for this to appear in your account.

RETURNS FOR EXCHANGES OR CREDIT
Size exchanges are free. A return shipping label will be provided free of charge. Once the original item is received back and approved for an exchange, a new order will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

For domestic orders returned for store credit, customers will receive a return shipping label will be provided free of charge.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We do not provide return shipping labels for out-of-country orders. Please send the item(s) back with the courier of your choice and keep note of the tracking number. Initial shipping fees are non-refundable.

SALE ITEMS/ FINAL SALE
Sale items can only be returned for store credit or exchanged for another item or size.

Items marked "Final Sale" are not eligible for refunds or credit, only for exchanges in size or color, if available. Please note that items on sale during promotional periods, such as Disco Friday, are considered final sale.

Thank you for your cooperation. We are a small brand, and managing returns is very difficult for us, so please be respectful of these policies. We will not consider exceptions.

Are any purchases final sale?

Yes, some of our items, such as the Tropical Gal Flowers, are "Final Sale" and will be clearly marked as such.

Please note that items on sale during promotional periods, such as Disco Friday, are considered final sale.

Items marked "Final Sale" are not eligible for refunds or credit, only for exchanges in size or color of the same product, if available.

When will I get my order?

We request 1 to 3 business days to process orders of items that are in stock.
Items not in stock or made to order require extended processing times of 1 to 4 weeks; this will be noted on the product listing.
Please note—Processing times are distinct from your ship method transit time.

The free shipping time we offer for orders above $100 takes 3-8 days.

Priority— $18 for 2-3 day delivery
Express Shipping— $45 for 1-2 day delivery

Delivery times will be listed at check out, and vary depending on your location and shipping method selected. All orders ship from Los Angeles, CA, USA.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information.

Delays are beyond our control once your order is in transit. Please keep in mind that if expedited shipping is added and your delivery is running late, we cannot issue refunds for shipping.
International orders may be subject to delays due to customs.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at check out.

We offer free US shipping for orders over $100 (delivery in 3-8 days).

If you need your order sooner, please upgrade to expedited options at check out.
Priority— $18 for 2-3 day delivery
Express Shipping— $45 for 1-2 day delivery

We ship worldwide and offer two international shipping options:
Economy— $25, delivery in 2-4 weeks via Ascendia (for orders up to $400 only)
Express— $45, delivery in 3-5 days via UPS or DHL.

CAN I GET MY ORDER SOONER?

Please contact us if you need your purchase shipped by a certain date. We will do our best to accommodate your needs!

Also, please keep in mind that if you need your order by a certain date, we highly suggest that you upgrade to expedited options at check out:
Priority— $16 for 2-3 day delivery
Express Shipping— $45 for 1-2 day delivery

Where are your products manufactured?

We produce some of our treasures in Los Angeles, but the majority of them are made in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil— where we are originally from.

They are made ethically and with care, by a small team of talented seamstresses and artisans. We know each and every person who makes our pieces; some have been by our side for over 10 years. When you purchase from us, you are not only supporting Santa Maria, but also the work of these wonderful ladies and lads.

Our production is the very heart of Santa Maria. We believe that the devotion that is poured into making our pieces is the reason for their magic.

Do you have a storefront?

We do not. Please stay tuned to our social media to find out about our ocassional pop-ups.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes, please reach out to us by email at hello@santamaria.love if you would like to arrange a custom order.

During extremely busy sales periods, we may not have time for custom orders. We suggest reaching back out in the future if you do not hear back from us.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SANTA MARIA PIECES?

Velvet jumpsuits, pants, and bodysuits can be machine washed and hung to dry.

Lurex and lace pieces should be hand washed and hung to dry, or dry cleaned.

All sequin pieces should be dry-cleaned.

Delicate pieces, such as our tulle bodysuits, specialty tops and panties, should be gently hand washed and laid to dry. Pieces made with mirrors should only be wiped down (outside and lining) with a wet cloth with soap.
