The Colombina Bodysuit II takes the name of an important entity in traditional Carnival stories told in Italy and later in Brazil. Colombina, meaning "Little Dove", was known for her beauty and stealing the hearts of men.

This bodysuit is as feminine and mesmerizing as Colombina herself! Its vintage hand-beaded appliqués make it so this treasures shows off just the right amount of skin, while its fringe dances daintily as you move, catching the eyes of everyone around. This bodysuit is a true spectacle - and so fun to wear!

Our inspiration for this piece? A divine flapper from the roaring 20s in Paris stumbles upon a Carnival Ball...and the rest is history!

ALL THE JUICY DETAILS:
- This is a bodysuit, but due to the hanging fringe, it looks like a little fringe dress.
- Pink tulle collar is sold sepately. Please write us if you wish to add the collar to your order. 
- The Colombina's hand-beaded appliqués are vintage and were found in our treasure hunts in Los Angeles
- Appliqués are hand sewn over the breast and private parts.
- The triple pink fringe is hand sewn on the front and back of the bodysuit to cover the bum. Clasp closing in the back. 
- The base is a nude tulle bodysuit with snap buttons at its bottom (no bathroom problems here--just snap those buttons off and back together!)

HOW IT COMES TO LIFE:
The Colombina Bodysuit is entirely hand sewn and takes one full days to come to life. We consider it a true treasure! It is made by our artisans in Brazil, where we are originally from.
